Officials
The Gwinnett Football League is in the process of accepting applications for Football Officials for our 2013 Football Season. If you are interested in applying, please download the application packet, including the 2013 GFL Officials Application, Contractor Agreement, and Consent Release Form from this site and return all completed forms to P.O. Box 251, Lilburn, GA 30048 by July 15th. Walk-up registrations will not be accepted.
Applicants will be notified of their acceptance via e-mail and expected to attend all training dates listed below.
Our program will be conducted through an Independent Contractor Agreement with each official. Applicants shall be responsible for furnishing their own uniform and equipment which will be required to perform their official duties. This year's official GFL Season begins August 10th with a Jamboree, and the regular season begins August 17th for 9 weeks, plus 4 additional weeks for playoffs/championship game.
The GFL shall have the sole authority to certify, appoint, contract and dismiss any GFL Official subject to the Constitution and By-Laws of the GFL.
As part of the GFL requirements, each new official is required to attend officials' training camp and rules clinic. We will be conducting a mechanics training session that will cover: rules, mechanics, signals, clock operation &positions. The rules clinic will cover 2013 GFL rules. Sessions are mandatory for all GFL officials regardless of years of experience and/or high school certification. Lunch and drinks will be provided.

The training location will be determined after a facility is reserved. The dates, times, location, and directions will be posted on this page.
